We’ve met a lot of lovely people since opening Trove and one of them is Nicole. Nicole is a food stylist as well as a chef for Green’s in Didsbury. She often stops by with her husband and two children and has been very supportive of our venture.
Last week Nicole and Darren, from shoot the moon photograpy, used our cafe for a styling shoot for a food photography competition (Good luck Darren). This is what Nicole wrote about it.

Thank you to all who came to our affordable threads sale yesterday. It was brilliant! We are considering making it a monthly thing. We are also thinking about having a clothes swap event so please let us know if this is something you would be interested in.

We’ve recently heard about Rochelle Canteen, the brainchild of Melanie Arnold & Margot Henderson — caterers and restaurateurs based in Shoreditch, London. They cook up weekday lunches which change daily, from a converted bike shed on a grass-covered Victorian school playground, and put a heavy emphasis on their original menus made up of the freshest and healthiest produce they can find. Nice!

The lovely folk from lovelevenshulme blog visited us yesterday. We were very excited to have them, and a little bit nervous too, but they wrote a lovely post about us so we need not worry.

On Thursday 26 Jan we will be holding a budget clothes sale with vintage and second clothes for sale. The sale will begin at 3.30pm and there will be teas, coffee and cakes available to buy too.
