Manchester Cares is a Community Network of older and younger neighbours coming together to spend time, share skills, perspective and wisdom, and most importantly, to build real friendships.
By attending the Volunteer Induction, you become a part of the network and can get stuck in to all of their activities and events;
Including Social Clubs - fun, free and friendly activities across the city. There's everything from Desert Islands Discs and Film Nights to Cocktail-making parties and crafty workshop.
AND… Love Your Neighbour - their one-to-one friendship scheme where older and younger neighbours come together to spend time once a week. Catching up on the latest Corrie gossip or going out for dinner together.

Award winning Manchester based home cook, Pippa, loves working with Asian flavours and will be preparing a 5 course, vegan Thai menu …. which will include her massaman curry (a firm favourite amongst her supper club guests!)
Alongside her menu, there will be some lovely vegan wines, selected by us, to compliment.

Taste the Love will be taking over the TROVE kitchen for a charity supper club this October as part of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival fringe events. All proceeds from #lovefoodgivefood will be donated to the charity Action Against Hunger.
The evening will be a delicious celebration of the seasons best produce, with four courses and a welcome cocktail for £30.
All monies raised will go to @actionagainsthunger
Wellness goddess, lifestyle guru, founder of Hemsley + Hemsley, Jasmine, is coming up for a special collaboration with MFDF and the award-winning artisans of Trove Bakery to create an Ayurvedic menu inspired by Jasmine's latest book East by West. It's a match made in heaven - Trove's focus on making food from scratch by hand and with a central focus on organic ingredients and locally sourced produce will meet Jasmine's home-cooked and mindful approach. Trove's natural wine collection will be availble on the night too.
Each guest will also be given a copy of East by West to take home with them.

We are taking over a cafe in Lisbon called Hello Kristof on the 24+25th March. We will have a small menu featuring some of our finest dishes. if you happen to be on a city break that weekend then call over and we'll make you a brew on the house!

Maray will be heading across the M62 to join us to take over for one night only, and we hope it will be a lot of fun!
Maray will be cooking up five courses, while we will be serving up natural wines and craft beer.

A very special evening as part of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival (MFDF). Taste The Love's Sarah Holder is teaming up with her talented brother Luke Holder – Head Chef at Hartnett Holder & Co – to bring you a Feel-Good-Food collaboration with a difference.

FoodCycle is an award-winning national charity that tackles food poverty and social isolation whilst reducing food waste and strengthening local communities. Each week, FoodCycle Manchester reclaims over 60kg of surplus food from local shops and supermarkets that otherwise would have been thrown away and uses it to cook nutritious, three-course, sit-down meals for anybody in the community to enjoy.

The Preloved Project is a not-for-profit, quarterly event raising valuable funding for Manchester’s homeless community.
Join OBJECT STYLE for their first event on Wednesday 21st June, 5pm - 9pm at Trove. They will be raising money for SHELTER Manchester.
The Preloved Project is great opportunity to re-home your unwanted wares and make room for thrifty new finds! Come along and swap good quality items including clothing, footwear, jewellery, accessories and homewares.
